Day 1 - Sat Lima

Welcome to Peru! Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Lima and enjoy the remainder of your day to explore the city at your own pace. Museums, archaeological sites, lush greenery and beautiful beaches, a bustling boardwalk and lively nightlife – come discover the modern metropolis of Lima!

Day 2 - Sun Lima

Today enjoy a tour of colonial and modern Lima, the "City of Kings". Start in the districts of Miraflores and San Isidro. San Isidro, an upscale residential and commercial neighborhood, houses a pre-Hispanic sacred structure (Huaca Huallamarca). Then stop at Parquedel Amor (Lovers Park) in Miraflores for its magnificent view over the Pacific Ocean. The tour also includes the Historic Centre based on the Main Square, where the Presidential Palace, the Archbishop´s Palace, the Municipality of Lima and the Cathedral are located, as well as a visit to one of the largest colonial-era convents. Return to your hotel. (B)

Day 3 - Mon Lima/Cusco/Sacred Valley

This morning transfer to Lima airport to board our flight to Cusco. Upon arrival in Cusco, transfer to your hotel in Sacred Valley. Rest of the day is at leisure. (B)

Day 4 - Tue Sacred Valley/Machu Picchu

Discover the best of the Sacred Valley of the Incas through this route starting on the Inca's Balcony, a beautiful terrace with an impressive view of Chinchero, where twelves families still preserve their traditional costumes, showing you the ancestral way in which they process the wool and obtain those vivid colors for their textiles. Afterwards, visit Ollantaytambo, one of the most monumental architectural complexes of the ancient Inca Empire. Very well known for its “andenes” (terraces dug into the slopes of mountains for agricultural purposes), Ollantaytambo was a highly effective fortress that also served as a temple. Then, we will visit the town of Ollantaytambo, “the unique living Inca town”: the best surviving example of Inca city planning, with narrow cobblestone streets that have been continuously inhabited since the 13th century. In the afternoon, board the train to Machu Picchu. Upon arrival in Machu Picchu, transfer to your hotel. (B,L)

Day 5 - Wed Machu Picchu/Cusco

Today visit the awe-inspiring Machu Picchu archaeological site. This comprehensive tour will take you through the history of the Inca civilization. Here you will understand why Machu Picchu was chosen a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World! Later, descend to Aguas Calientes for lunch at a local restaurant. Train back to the Sacred Valley, followed by a transfer to Cusco. (B,L)

Day 6 - Thu Cusco

Enjoy a full day at leisure to relax or take in the charm of this beautiful colonial city that was built upon the remains of amazing Inca buildings. Not to miss: Temple of the Sun (Koricancha), San Blas artisans neighborhood, the Cathedral and the Inca Fortress of Sacsayhuaman. You can also take an optional tour of Cusco, Sacsayhuaman, and nearby Archeological sites. (B)

Day 7 - Fri Cusco/Lima to USA

After breakfast, transfer to the airport to board your flight to Lima. Upon arrival in Lima, you will have assistance to your connecting flights back home. (B)
